Ship Chandler Activity

Dante Zona Libre is actively participating to the ship chandler activity delivering Intermarché food and cleaning range of products as well as Tobacco products to vessels reaching one of the 3 Colon Atlantic side Ports, and also to ships cruising the Canal as well as Cruise ships.

More than 15.000 Ships yearly pass through the Panama Canal (official information from the Panama canal offices). With a monthly average superior to 1.200 Vessels touching Panama Ports Dante is invoicing almost 200 ships a month being one of the most serious ship chandler partners in this industry.

Dante Duty Free Store occupies a ´´Strategic Location´´ in the main retail street of the whole Colon Free Zone at walking distance to the Colon 2000 Cruise Line Port Terminal.

Where 7 Major Cruise Vessels Passengers disembark on a weekly basis, the daily retail sales of Dante Zona Libre S.A. is a very successful operation.

Dante has established a strategic alliance with the Cruise Lines Representatives to bring the tourists visiting the Colon Free Zone straight to the Dante Duty Free Store motivating financially the Tour Operator guides with a percentage income on net sales.

Warehousing - logistic

With more than 2000 square meters of in bond warehousing facilities Dante Zona Libre manage their full logistics in their proper warehouse, but also offer storage services to third parties.
